
Jazmine was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam was Jazmine's mother. She is an ex-backing singer at Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, her father was appointed as City's Historic Strawberry Mansion curator. The family then moved into this historic building. In 2005, she graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in the class of a vocal music major. Sullivan was a contralto member of the choir of children, then just a few years later, she was a singer in the adults ' choir. Sullivan was not exposed to secular music. She relates that she was in her 11th year when someone was requesting her to sing for solos in church. She wasn't yet ready for.
